Terms and conditions

This document explains the rules for using baub.io, the BAUB community account, referrals, and BAUB Pass / Collection purchases, operated by BAUB S.r.l.s..

1. Scope

The site lets you apply to join the BAUB community using your first name, last name, email address, and password, and to receive a personal invite code to share with others. Eligible users may purchase BAUB Pass and BAUB Collection via pass.baub.io. Services are provided by BAUB S.r.l.s., registered office at Via Gropallo 4/9, 16122 Genova (GE) (VAT 03091200992).

2. Eligibility and account use

You state that you are at least 18 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and that the information you provide is accurate. Your password is personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for activity on your account until you credibly report unauthorised access to BAUB organisers.

3. Referrals and BAUB Points

The invite code links sign-ups to a referrer when validly provided. BAUB Points in this phase are internal to the community programme (participation / gamification) and do not constitute financial instruments, equity, profit promises, or cryptocurrencies distributed through this landing. Any future rules, conversions, or uses will be communicated through official BAUB channels.

4. BAUB Pass, Collection and payments

NFT Pass or Collection purchases are made on pass.baub.io via card (Stripe), bank transfer to BAUB S.r.l.s. (IBAN provided at checkout), and on-chain mint on the public Base network. BAUB Pass sales are not capped by a fixed total supply; per-account limits shown at checkout still apply.

BGOV is not sold separately: it is bundled with the Pass pack until the dedicated pool is exhausted (4,000,000 tokens maximum). After the pool ends, Pass purchases may continue without a BGOV allocation. BGOV is not a financial instrument or return promise; it enables governance rights described in product pages, with binding consultation via Snapshot where officially announced. 60% of BGOV supply remains allocated to the company treasury (Gnosis Safe). BF Points and BAUB Points are internal community programme tools.

5. Intellectual property

Trademarks, copy, graphics, and landing content remain with their respective owners. Unauthorised use that could confuse users about the project or partners is prohibited.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. Except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, BAUB S.r.l.s. and its organisers are not liable for indirect damage, data loss, or outages due to force majeure or third-party providers (e.g. hosting, Supabase, Stripe, blockchain network).

7. Suspension and closure

We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that are abusive, fraudulent, incompatible with these terms or applicable law, or for operational reasons related to the programme.

8. Privacy

Personal data processing is governed by the privacy notice linked at sign-up (external URL or dedicated document). By registering you confirm you have reviewed that notice.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated; the last revision date will be shown in the footer when enabled. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Governing law and venue

Disputes are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Exclusive venue, where permitted by law: Genova.
